Principal’s Welcome

Dear Parents/Guardians,

We welcome you and your child to our school website, which we hope reflects the happy, secure and beneficial time that our pupils have with us. It is a privilege to be entrusted with a child’s education during these early years.   Your co-operation is very important in enabling us to make the school a place where your child will find happiness, friendship and encouragement to use his/her gifts.  Co-operation and a strong sense of community within the school are encouraged so that all may enjoy a sense of belonging.

As you are your child’s first and continuing educator we look forward to working in partnership with you so as to provide the best possible education for your child.

We are fortunate to have a dedicated and supportive Board of Management and Parents’ Association in our school. We have a highly committed staff, who work tirelessly to ensure that each child achieves his/her full potential.  All personnel engage in continuing professional development to ensure that standards of excellence are maintained.

Coupled with this, we are also in a position to offer many new and exciting teaching and learning resources in our school.  As  a Digital School, technology plays a central role, with all classrooms being equipped with the most up-to-date interactive devices.   A suite of iPads  are also available  in every classroom to facilitate the delivery of a broad and balanced curriculum.

We aim at building on strengths, so as to enhance your child’s self-esteem. The holistic development of your child is central to our  Catholic ethos. The religious and spiritual development of all pupils is seen as a high priority. Achievements are celebrated and facilitated not alone in the academic realm but in the broad spectrum of extra-curricular activities that we offer.
